The 68th IPAC Annual National conference will be held on June 26-29, 2016 at the Fairmount Royal York, Toronto. Through the conference theme, Principles + Practices = Possibilities, delegates will explore the critical relationships between principles and practices and how, together, they contribute to possibilities that will build a responsive public service for the future. Public servants will continue to face change and know that it is essential to transform, reinvent and shape their future. The theme relates to the importance of equipping today’s public service to deal with contemporary issues in preparation for future changes and challenges.

For 68 years, the IPAC Annual Conference has provided tools and ideas to individuals who strive to be consummate public service professionals. The Conference provides opportunities to enhance their knowledge of public administration and management, to share cutting-edge knowledge of public policy issues, as well as to learn best practices so that Canada continues to be a model of public service for the world. This year’s Annual National Conference will attract hundreds of public servants from provincial, territorial, municipal and indigenous governments, as well as respected academics, and it will strive to be more informative, interactive and engaging than ever before.
